Our area boasts more than a dozen Bed & Breakfasts/Inns plus 2 hotels and numerous cabins and cottages — comparable to cities much larger than our small towns. That's because over a century ago, passenger trains brought visitors to this cool summertime retreat from the heat and humidity of the S.C. low country. Historic properties are still eager to offer you rest and rejuvenation — as are many new B&Bs, homes, cottages and rustic cabins.
